The Boîte à Pépites Advent Calendar takes to the stage for the first time. Twenty-five musical treasures composed by twenty-five mysterious women composers, whose names will only be revealed between 1 and 25 December… Except for the lucky few who will discover the entire Calendar on 19 December at the Cité de la Musique! The thirty-eight prestigious performers in the twenty-five video capsules will be brought together for a concert in the form of an anthology, bringing together the twenty-five treasures and presenting the twenty-five portraits of women composers. Designed in harmony with the Musée d’Orsay collections, this new Calendar will bring together twenty-five works on the theme of the Enchanted Garden. A garden where elves, fairies, korrigans, flies and butterflies meet… Between sparkling ponds, mysterious forests and flowery meadows! The works presented will all have never been recorded before: a unique opportunity to discover a rare repertoire.
